City Theatrical 2798 Top Hat For Martin MAC Aura XIP Fixtures

Built for lighting designers, production electricians, and rental shop managers who run Martin MAC Aura XIP moving lights on theatre stages, concert rigs, corporate events, and broadcast sets. A top hat is the quickest way to reduce unwanted light on a fixture that is already focused, and it travels with the unit through load-in, re-hangs, and strike instead of depending on loose flags or black wrap that must be rebuilt for every show.

City Theatrical designs and fabricates its beam shaping accessories in its New Jersey-based factory, and its catalog covers 48 styles across 18 Martin fixture models. That depth matters when a rental inventory mixes several Martin products, since you can source matching accessories for each fixture from a single manufacturer and keep the look consistent across the rig.

Projects that need something outside the standard lineup have another option. City Theatrical also creates custom beam control accessories for end users of Martin fixtures, which gives production teams a path forward when a venue or design calls for a nonstandard solution.
