- Tapered Profile Stacks Cleanly Without Sticking Together
- Compact Stacking Saves Space In Storage And Transport
- Rotates To Leave The Beam Open On One Side For Full Output
- Same Stacking Design As The Full Stackers Tapered Top Hats
Half top hats let a lighting designer or master electrician cut stray light on one side of a fixture while leaving the opposite side of the beam open. Because the hat rotates, the open side can be aimed wherever it is needed, which makes it useful for controlling glare toward an audience, a camera, or a neighboring set piece without giving up intensity on the working side. This short version gives a more compact option than the standard-length half hat in the same size range.
Stackers suit theatrical shops, touring packages, and venue inventories because they fit a broad range of fixtures, including Source Four Jr, Source Four Zoom, Selecon Pacific, and Altman Shakespeare. Check fit before ordering for ETC XDLT barrels, Strand SL, and Source Four 14° units, which are not compatible, and confirm any other fixture before buying.
Finish options are available. A white version with no interior flocking comes at no extra charge by adding a W to the catalog number. White outside with black inside, or white outside with black flocked inside, are available by calling for pricing.
