City Theatrical 2891 Adapter For 7 1/2" Stacker Top Hat

This adapter is made for the 7 1/2" size in the City Theatrical Stackers line, a top hat system that grew out of a request from lighting designer Mike Baldassari, who needed to conserve shipping space on a European tour. It suits lighting designers, production electricians, rental houses, and touring crews who carry large top hat inventories and want one consistent system across their fixtures.

Stackers perform exactly like a standard top hat, so they slot into existing focus and spill control workflows without changing how a rig is plotted or hung. They are commonly used with Source Four, Source Four PAR, Source Four Jr, Source Four Zoom, Selecon Pacific, and Altman Shakespeare fixtures, along with many others. Compared with conventional top hats, the real advantage is logistics: fewer cases, tighter truck packs, and a lighter footprint for the accessory inventory.

Check fit before ordering. Stackers do not fit ETC XDLT barrels, Strand SL, or Source Four 14 degree units, and may not fit every lighting fixture. Other finishes, including white, are also offered, so contact City Theatrical with any questions about the right configuration for your rig.
