QolorFLEX tape is for lighting designers, electricians, scenic shops, and rental houses that need linear light where a conventional fixture will not fit. Typical jobs include scenic and set builds, practical effects, backlit panels, and architectural accents on installs, as well as film and video lighting where a slim source solves a placement problem.
Choosing within the family comes down to two decisions: emitter type and environment. White versions come in warm, natural, and cool tones for fixed color temperature work. The color-mixing versions are meant to be run from a DMX controller, so one tape type can cover a changing palette from cue to cue. Indoor tape suits interior work, while the outdoor version is encased in a clear waterproof silicone sleeve for exterior projects and requires waterproof end caps after cutting.
The line is aimed at professional use rather than hobby strips, which matters when lighting has to match across an entire production. Because white, color, indoor, and outdoor tape all come from one family, a single supplier can cover the scenic, practical, and architectural needs of a project without mixing brands, and matching parts are easy to reorder for additions or replacements.
