City Theatrical 5729 2dBi Indoor Omnidirectional Antenna 2.3"

Radio link problems in live production and installed systems often trace back to the antenna rather than the transmitter. This model is aimed at lighting technicians, system integrators, and production electricians who need dependable all-around coverage inside a theater, studio, ballroom, or rehearsal space, where receiving devices can sit in any direction from the radio.

Unlike high-gain panel or Yagi designs that concentrate energy toward a target, an omni pattern needs no aiming. That speeds up load-in and removes the risk of a bumped antenna dropping the link mid-show. It is a practical pick for short-range, same-room layouts where breadth of coverage matters more than distance. Placement is simple: mount it where it has a clear line of sight to the devices it serves and keep it away from large metal surfaces.

City Theatrical also offers long range antennas for jobs that call for focused reach, so this part fits rooms better than long outdoor throws. For rental shops and touring packages it also makes an easy spare, since it works in most room layouts without special placement. Confirm the connector and frequency band of your radio before ordering.
