City Theatrical 5984 Dual Band Stubby Omni Antenna For Wireless DMX

Wireless DMX problems are often solved at the antenna. This stubby omni is for lighting designers, electricians, and production teams who need a compact antenna that covers both the 900MHz and 2.4GHz bands, so one part number fits whichever radio a rig is running. An omnidirectional pattern spreads energy around the antenna instead of aiming it at one spot, which suits setups where receivers sit in several directions from the transmitter.

Within City Theatrical's wireless DMX antenna lineup, this is the low-profile choice. When a job demands more reach or tighter focus, the line also includes the 5981 Panel and 5982 Yagi long range antennas for Multiverse wireless DMX/RDM setups, while the 5731 and 5732 omni antennas cover legacy SHoW DMX hardware. Choosing the stubby omni keeps hardware small and avoids over-specifying when directional gain is not needed.

For touring lighting crews and installed theater systems alike, a compact antenna is easier to pack, mount, and keep clear of truss, scenery, and cable runs. Confirm the connector against your node or transmitter before ordering, and use City Theatrical's adapter selection matrix when connectors differ.
