City Theatrical 91 6" Vertical Extension Tube For Lighting Fixtures

This is a short vertical drop for riggers, lighting designers, and production electricians who need a fixture to sit lower than its hanging position. On a crowded pipe, moving lights and conventional units often have different body heights and yoke styles, so lenses end up at uneven levels. A short tube between the clamp and the fixture gives the crew a straightforward way to correct that without reworking the whole position.

Typical uses include touring rigs, theatrical electrics, corporate events, and installed houses where trim height and sightlines matter. Staggering drops along a batten gives the pipe a deliberate profile instead of a flat line of fixtures, and it lets you match lens planes on mixed fixture types. A modular approach with other lengths in the same family and an adapter for split couplers lets one system cover a whole rig plan.

Compared with improvised spacers, a purpose-built extension keeps the offset predictable from fixture to fixture and gives crews a repeatable part to spec, stock, and reorder. Specify it when the plot calls for a defined drop below the clamp rather than a field fix.
