City Theatrical 95 24" Vertical Extension Tube For Lighting Fixtures

Vertical Extension Tubes solve a common rigging problem: the pipe is where it is, but the fixture needs to be somewhere else. Lighting designers, electricians, and production teams use them in theaters, touring rigs, and installed venues to bring a unit to the height the design calls for instead of accepting wherever the clamp lands.

The most common jobs are sculpting the ends of a pipe so the rig reads cleanly, and bringing moving lights and conventional fixtures hanging on the same pipe onto a common lens plane. When fixtures with different body sizes share a position, a tube at the right length keeps focus and look consistent from unit to unit.

Tubes also connect to one another, so crews can build drops to suit the position. For hanging points that use split couplers, the 090 adapter completes the connection. Compared with improvised drop solutions, a purpose-built extension keeps the hardware list simple, repeatable, and easy to call out on a plot.
