The Clear-Com EQP-TCVR is a digital remote transceiver designed for use with the EQUIP wireless intercom platform. It delivers audio, data, and power over a single CAT5/6 cable, reaching up to 500 feet from the EQUIP base station. Operating on the 5 GHz license-free radio band, it provides reliable wireless performance in RF-dense environments such as broadcast facilities, houses of worship, theaters, and live production venues without requiring spectrum coordination in most regions.
Installation flexibility is a core design priority. Site Survey Mode allows integrators to assess transceiver placement before committing to a final position, reducing guesswork during system deployment. Country-specific frequency settings are managed centrally via the EQUIP base station, simplifying compliance across different regulatory environments. RGB status LEDs on the front panel give technicians immediate visual feedback on power and connection status at a glance.
