The Clear-Com FSIC-BP19-X5 FreeSpeak Icon beltpack is designed for production teams and intercom engineers who need flexible, high-channel-count wireless communication across large-scale live events, broadcast facilities, and touring productions. Operating at 1.9GHz, the beltpack integrates directly with FreeSpeak Edge Base stations, Arcadia Central Stations running v3.1 or later, and Eclipse HX frames updated to v14.1 or later via E-IPA cards, giving integrators a clear upgrade path within existing Clear-Com infrastructure. Up to 200 beltpacks can operate on a single system, and the FSIC-BP19-X5 can coexist on the same wireless network as legacy FreeSpeak II 1.9GHz beltpacks, protecting prior investment while expanding capability.

Where comparable wireless beltpacks offer limited controls, the FSIC-BP19-X5 provides nine independently assignable keys including a dedicated reply button, dual rotary encoders, individual C and D level controls, and a main volume knob, giving operators the kind of tactile command structure typically reserved for wired panels. The large TFT color display keeps channel routing and status immediately readable in dark broadcast environments or bright outdoor venues. Built-in mic and speaker station mode, a built-in flashlight, and Bluetooth 5.3 headset support via MSBC/HFP add operational flexibility without adding to the rig. USB-C handles pairing, firmware updates, and charging, while the drop-in charging option suits multi-unit fleet management in rental and broadcast operations.

The rugged, tapered body carries an IP54 rating for resistance to water and dust, making it reliable across stadium walkways, festival sites, and outdoor broadcast positions. Low-latency audio under 35ms end-to-end and full-duplex operation on all routes ensure communication-critical cues are never delayed. For production professionals standardizing on Clear-Com ecosystems, the FSIC-BP19-X5 delivers the control density and network scalability that large-crew productions demand.
