The Clear-Com PTX3-19 is a UHF IFB transmitter designed for broadcast directors, production sound mixers, and live event engineers who need dependable wireless program feed and cue delivery to talent on the floor. Operating in the 486.4 to 511.9 MHz range within Block 19, it pairs directly with the IFBR1B-A1 beltpack and provides 250 mW RF output with 50-ohm output impedance for consistent coverage in complex RF environments.

DSP-based processing addresses common IFB pain points head-on. Selectable low-frequency rolloff and compandor artifact reduction keep cue audio intelligible even in noisy RF conditions. The backlit LCD shows modulation level, frequency, mode, and rolloff status at a glance, while a lockable setting prevents accidental channel changes during a live show. Multiple compatibility modes including IFB, Digital Hybrid Wireless, and 200, 400, 100, Mode 3, and Mode 6 give this transmitter the cross-brand flexibility to slot into mixed-manufacturer workflows without a dedicated infrastructure overhaul.

The machined aluminum housing is built for the demands of repeated setup and tear-down. It operates standalone or mounts in a standard rack with the optional PRK-2 kit. Balanced and unbalanced audio input configurations are rear-panel selectable, with XLR input supporting line, mic, RTS, and Clear-Com levels. Input power runs on 12 to 14 VDC, making it compatible with common rack power solutions used in broadcast trucks and installed production facilities.
