Clear-Com Station-IC is a virtual desktop intercom client designed for broadcast, live production, and installed AV environments where operators need a full-featured intercom station without dedicated hardware. Running on standard Windows or MacOS computers, Station-IC integrates directly with Eclipse, Gen-IC, and LQ intercom systems, giving engineers and production staff encrypted talk, listen, and call-signal capability from any networked machine. The subscription model accommodates single operators and multi-seat deployments alike, with licensing options for new installations and renewals available across the product family.

Station-IC routes audio directly through the host computer's audio inputs and outputs, supports assignable keysets for partylines, groups, IFB, point-to-point, and control functions, and delivers OS-level notifications for incoming calls. The scalable UI adapts to multitasking workflows and compact screen layouts. Connectivity extends across Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and mobile data networks, making Station-IC practical for remote production, fly-pack setups, and fixed installs where running dedicated intercom panels to every position is impractical. AES-128 encryption secures all audio and control streams, and third-party integration options including Bitfocus Companion and a WebSocket API expand automation possibilities for complex productions.

Compared to hardware beltpack or panel alternatives, Station-IC eliminates per-seat hardware cost and allows rapid scaling through software licensing. The invite-based SkyPort workflow lets administrators onboard users without on-site configuration, making it well suited for distributed teams and events with fluctuating crew sizes.
