The Community R1 series is engineered for large-format installed and touring applications where pattern control, weather resistance, and extended bandwidth are non-negotiable. Systems integrators, touring engineers, and venue install teams specifying coverage for reverberant indoor arenas, outdoor stadiums, or climate-exposed environments will find the R1's full-range, two-way, horn-loaded coaxial architecture delivers consistent, predictable coverage with minimal off-axis coloration.

The all-fiberglass enclosure and IP55W-rated construction allow permanent or semi-permanent outdoor deployment without the compromises typical of non-weatherized cabinets. The large deep LF horn combined with a large-diaphragm 1-inch exit HF driver extends both low-end output and high-frequency reach beyond what smaller-format alternatives can provide, and the 105 dB sensitivity rating reduces amplifier headroom demands in demanding fixed-install or festival contexts.

Three horn pattern options — including 60x40, 60x60, and 90x40 — allow integrators to select the appropriate coverage geometry for a given venue without swapping driver configurations. TAA compliance makes the R1 eligible for GSA Schedule contract vehicles, making it a straightforward specification for U.S. federal and government facility projects. The Community ALC404D loudspeaker controller is the recommended amplified controller for this system, with compatibility extending to higher-power ALC models.
