The double-wall enclosure construction forms a completely weather-sealed chamber around the LF drivers, making this loudspeaker appropriate for permanent outdoor installation with continuous direct exposure.
With a 107 dB sensitivity rating and 400W continuous power handling, the R2-94Z is optimized for long-throw projection in stadiums, amphitheaters, transit hubs, and large-scale installed sound systems where both music fidelity and speech intelligibility must be maintained at distance. The included passive crossover with dynamic driver protection simplifies system configuration, while the steel mounting yoke and five threaded rigging points support a range of installation approaches. An optional 400W transformer (TRC400) enables 70V, 100V, or 140V distributed audio system integration.
The R2-94Z carries IP55 environmental certification per IEC 60529 and conforms with MIL-STD-810G, confirming suitability for harsh environmental conditions beyond what most competitor enclosures are rated to handle.
