The Community ALC-404D is designed for AV integrators specifying installed sound systems in houses of worship, corporate spaces, education facilities, and public venues where reliable, software-managed loudspeaker control is essential. Each of the four output channels delivers up to 400W and can independently drive low-impedance loads down to 2 ohms, 70V distributed lines, 100V distributed lines, or bridged configurations up to 800W — giving integrators the flexibility to serve mixed-impedance systems from a single rack unit without additional signal processing hardware.

Integration with the ArmonìaPlus System Manager software enables decentralized system tuning, zone management, and real-time remote monitoring from a single interface. Biamp-authored loudspeaker presets for the full Community catalog are built in, delivering factory-optimized EQ, high-pass filters, and multi-stage TruePower limiting tailored to each enclosure. The software automatically calculates and displays power requirements and headroom per output channel, eliminating manual impedance calculations and accelerating system commissioning.

Analog and Dante inputs are assignable per channel in static or failover configurations, supporting straightforward integration into new builds and retrofits alike. IEC 60849 compliant monitoring, per-channel GPIO fault reporting, and TAA compliance make the ALC-404D suitable for mission-critical and government installations. Its 1RU form factor and class-leading thermal efficiency reduce rack space, cooling costs, and long-term operational overhead compared to traditional amplifier-plus-DSP-processor configurations.
