The Countryman E6 directional earset is built for sound engineers, production teams, and houses of worship that need a head-worn microphone that disappears on a performer while still delivering clean, uncolored audio in demanding live environments. The ultra-miniature electret condenser element sits close to the mouth on a very flexible boom that adjusts for a custom fit, and a comfortable earpad keeps the mic firmly in place through full productions without fatigue. The directional polar pattern provides maximum isolation from surrounding noise and stage wash, making it the preferred choice over omnidirectional alternatives when gain before feedback is a priority. Three sensitivity options scale the mic from general speech reinforcement through extremely powerful vocal applications, and four skin-tone color options let the mic blend seamlessly under stage lighting.
Where the E6 separates itself from competing headworn mics is in its combination of build quality and serviceability. The stainless steel boom can be bent and re-bent repeatedly to fit different performers without fatiguing, and the detachable connector system lets technicians swap cables or swap to a different transmitter platform without replacing the entire microphone. The aramid-reinforced cable and braided RF shielding are rated for years of continuous touring use, and the microphone is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture with supplied protective caps in place. Available with Hirose 4-pin AT connectors or Hirose 4-pin screw-down cH-style ATCH connectors, and in 1mm and 2mm cable diameters, the E6 family fits directly into Audio-Technica wireless transmitter systems without adapters.
