  • Multiple Gain Configurations Cover Speech Reinforcement Through High-SPL Vocal Applications

The Countryman E6 is the industry benchmark for head-worn microphones in live theater, broadcast, corporate presentation, and house of worship production. Sound engineers and system integrators choose it when source isolation, natural reproduction, and performer comfort must all be achieved simultaneously. The ultra-miniature electret condenser element sits precisely at the corner of the mouth, held in place by a very flexible boom and a contoured earpad that adjusts to fit virtually any performer without tools. Multiple sensitivity options span the full range from general speech reinforcement to high-SPL vocal performance, so a single platform covers the majority of earset applications in a production inventory.

Where comparable head-worn microphones trade durability for size, the E6 delivers both. The stainless steel boom can be bent and re-bent repeatedly to accommodate different performers without fatigue or failure. The aramid-reinforced cable and braided RF shielding resist years of use in demanding stage environments, and the supplied protective caps extend resistance to makeup, sweat, and moisture. The detachable connector system means a cable damage or transmitter change does not require retiring the microphone body. Color options allow engineers and wardrobe teams to match the microphone to the performer's skin tone, keeping the element nearly invisible under stage and broadcast lighting.

Available with a hardwired XLR connector or as an earset-only body without a connector, and in multiple gain configurations and colors, the E6 family adapts to a wide range of production workflows and wireless transmitter systems without compromise.
