The Countryman E6 earset is built for presenters, performers, and touring engineers who need professional audio capture with zero visible profile on stage or on camera. An ultra-miniature electret condenser element, positioned close to the mouth by a thin adjustable boom and comfortable earpad, delivers uncolored audio while rejecting surrounding noise and feedback. Three sensitivity options span general speech through extremely powerful vocal applications, and four color options allow the mic to blend with a wide range of skin tones for maximum concealment in broadcast, theater, house of worship, and live event environments.
The E6 is offered with omnidirectional and directional pickup elements. The directional version provides additional isolation and improved gain before feedback in high-SPL stage environments, while the omnidirectional element delivers consistent pickup regardless of head movement. The very flexible "i" style boom adjusts easily to fit different performers and holds position securely without tools. The detachable connector design lets engineers swap cables or change transmitter packs in seconds, extending the usable life of the mic across multiple wireless systems over years of service.
Durability is built into every layer of the E6. The stainless steel boom withstands repeated bending to accommodate different performers without fatigue. The aramid-reinforced cable and braided RF shielding resist the mechanical stress and radio frequency interference common in demanding live production environments. Supplied protective caps provide resistance to makeup, sweat, and moisture, protecting the element through long performance runs. At 0.07 oz, the E6 disappears on the performer, making it the preferred choice when any competing mic would be too visible or too heavy for the application.
