The Countryman H6 directional headset microphone is built for performers and presenters who need a professional-grade wireless mic that disappears on camera and survives high-output productions. With a capsule diameter of just 0.1" (2.5 mm), it sits flush against the face without drawing attention under stage lighting or on broadcast. The pattern-adjustable directional pickup rejects off-axis bleed from monitors and ambient room noise, making it the right tool for loud live stages, houses of worship, theater, and corporate AV installs where feedback margins are critical. Available with TA4F connectors in multiple termination variants to match specific Shure wireless receiver models, the H6 drops directly into existing Shure systems without adapters.
Where comparable headset microphones compromise on cable durability or moisture handling, the H6 addresses both at the construction level. The 1.2 mm cable is built around aramid strength members and engineered alloys for tensile and flex strength that holds up through repeated productions. A sealed mic-to-cable connector provides a tight barrier against sweat, extending usable life in demanding performance environments. The headframe adjusts to fit a wide range of head sizes and the boom slides independently, so RF technicians and stage managers can dial in fit quickly at changeover without tools. Protective caps allow on-site pattern adjustment. Multiple sensitivity options and four finish colors let production teams choose the best match for performer type and camera angle.
