DAS Audio Mia-S Passive Band-Pass Subwoofer Surface Mount Sub | 15" | Black

The DAS Audio Mia-S series is designed for integrators and install engineers who need consistent, full-range low-frequency reinforcement in permanent installations. The band-pass enclosure design controls the frequency window at the cabinet level, reducing the demand on external processing and delivering predictable results in venues where ceiling, wall, or surface mounting is the only practical option. The omnidirectional dispersion pattern makes placement flexible, allowing subwoofers to be distributed across a space rather than concentrated at a single point source.

These cabinets suit a wide range of installed sound environments: houses of worship, retail spaces, hospitality venues, conference centers, and theater lobbies where visible hardware must blend with the architecture. Available in 10-inch and 15-inch woofer configurations, the Mia-S line scales from smaller rooms requiring modest output to larger spaces demanding higher headroom, and both woofer sizes are offered in black and white finishes to match existing decor or ceiling tile systems.

The passive design keeps amplification and signal routing centralized in an equipment room, simplifying maintenance and giving the system engineer direct control over drive levels, limiting, and equalization from a single point. For integrators who standardize on distributed passive systems, the Mia-S provides a purpose-built subwoofer solution that avoids the reliability concerns and heat load of installing active electronics in hard-to-reach mounting locations.
