The ACTION-M512 from DAS Audio is a 12", 2-way passive point source speaker that's an ideal solution for fixed installations & portable PA applications alike.

A moderately-sized unit that’s packed with power, the ACTION-M512 from DAS Audio’s ACTION-500 speaker series is a passive point source speaker. Designed primarily as a stage monitor, its rotatable horn with 80º x 50º allows you to use it as a PA system when propped up in a vertical orientation.

A versatile solution for touring, the ACTION-M512 is an ideal addition to any size of studio or permanent stage setup. It’s great for sound reinforcement in live performance venues, bands, DJs, and other performers, music playback, A/V systems, conferences, and presentation. It delivers particularly awesome audio quality to speech and vocals.

The ACTION-M512 passive stage monitor is built with the same attention to detail and commitment to high-quality construction as the entirety of DAS Audio’s product line. All systems are developed to live up to their core philosophy of stringent quality standards in both the individual materials they use and the overall design. The entire ACTION-500 series uses birch plywood construction for a tight, natural, and warm sound. The ACTION-M512 boasts a frequency range of 63 Hz to 20 kHz, while it has a nominal impedance of 8 ohms.

NOTE: When using a passive version of the ACTION-500 speaker series, you’ll need to complete the sound system with DAS Audio amplifiers and processors with stored presets and limiters; the recommended companions of this speaker are the PA-1500 amplifier and the DSP-226 processor. (All external gear sold separately.) This will ensure optimized long-term speaker performance.
