The Digital Audio Labs DPM4 is built for engineers and performers who need a reliable, low-footprint personal monitor mix solution in Dante-networked environments. Recording studios running Dante Virtual Soundcard, houses of worship with distributed Dante infrastructures, and small live venues can all deploy the DPM4 without dedicated analog headphone amp racks or additional cabling runs — Power over Ethernet handles both signal and power through a single EtherCon connection.
Each unit supports up to four input channels sourced directly from the Dante network, configurable into as many as two stereo pairs. Nine onboard DSP programs let performers shape their mix to match the application — whether that's a drum-vocals-keys-guitar breakdown across four mono aux busses, a stereo everything mix with a personal stem on top, or a click-plus-instrument blend for tracking. The always-available master volume knob keeps level control immediate without menu diving.
Compared to analog personal monitoring systems, the DPM4 eliminates dedicated headphone amp hardware and analog snake infrastructure. Versus other Dante-based IEM solutions, its wearable belt-clip form factor and 1/8" and 1/4" stereo outputs make it immediately compatible with virtually any in-ear or headphone monitoring setup a performer already owns, lowering the barrier to full Dante monitor adoption on any stage or session.
