This mic delivers pristine, natural and undistorted sound with exceptional isolation and off-axis rejection for any live or studio setting. Fitted with MicroLock® and a series of upgraded instrument clips, the 4099 CORE+ provides even better stability and flexibility on any type of instrument. 

4099 CORE+ Mic, Extreme SPL (yellow marking on gooseneck) – used to close-mic extremely loud instruments, such as drums and some brass. Designed for use on drums, percussion instruments and other very loud instruments like, for example, the trumpet, this mic has a max SPL, peak before clipping of 154 dB.

(The 4099 CORE+ is fully backwards compatible with all generations of DPA instrument clips and with accessories featuring MicroDot connector, ensuring seamless integration with your existing setup.)
