The 6066 CORE Subminiature Headset delivers full-spectrum DPA audio transparency in a capsule one-third the size of conventional headworn microphones. At just 3 mm in diameter, the omnidirectional element provides consistent frequency response from 20 Hz to 20 kHz with a designed 4 dB soft boost between 8–20 kHz that compensates for proximity losses common in subminiature designs. The result is intelligible speech reproduction that translates reliably across broadcast, installed worship, and theatrical environments.

Engineers specify this headset for demanding installation projects where concealment matters but sonic compromise is unacceptable. The 3-point ear grip distributes pressure above, below, and behind the ear, maintaining capsule position through energetic movement without discomfort during extended wear. The integrated 90° cable exit geometry guides the 1.3 m run along the neck and reduces stress at the connector junction, a common failure point in professional headworn systems. IP58 ingress protection ensures performance under perspiration, dust, and environmental moisture encountered in live production.

MicroLock connectivity enables field-swappable wireless adapters for Shure, Sennheiser, Lectrosonics, and other professional transmitter platforms. With 144 dB peak SPL capability at 10% THD and equivalent self-noise of just 26 dB(A) typical, the capsule accommodates both intimate vocal work and high-output vocal performance without gain-structure compromise or audible noise floor.
