The EAW MK2300i Series targets installation integrators specifying main PA or distributed fill for small-to-mid-size venues — houses of worship, corporate boardrooms, hotel ballrooms, auditoriums, and themed-entertainment spaces. The trapezoidal enclosure is purpose-built for permanent install, with 3/8-inch mounting points distributed across the cabinet and a form factor that stacks directly alongside MK5300i Series systems for mixed-pattern arrays at matching heights.

At the heart of the design is a 3-inch voice coil compression driver loaded through one of six available HF horns, paired with a 3-inch voice coil 12-inch LF driver. Coverage patterns span 60° x 45° to 120° x 60°, and horns are user-rotatable in the field to suit asymmetric seating layouts without requiring a separate SKU. EAW's beamwidth-matching crossover eliminates the power-response discontinuities common in two-way designs, keeping all MK2300i models voiced identically so mixed horn patterns maintain sonic consistency across a single installation.

Integrators can switch between single-amp and bi-amp modes, giving system designers flexibility to match existing amplifier infrastructure or apply external DSP processing.
