The EAW NT208L is a self-powered line array module engineered for fast-moving production teams and touring systems where setup speed and operational simplicity matter as much as sonic performance. Two 8-inch low-frequency drivers powered by 2000 watts of Class-D amplification deliver 141dB maximum SPL across a 50 Hz to 20 kHz operating range, making the NT208L suitable for mid-to-large format touring, festival, and installed venue applications. At 53 pounds, it weighs significantly less than comparable passive enclosures, reducing crew fatigue during load-in and repositioning.
The distinguishing feature is EAW's Adjustable Horizontal Directivity (AHD) horn, which allows field operators to switch between 80-degree narrow, 110-degree wide, and asymmetric 95-degree coverage patterns without tools or software. This capability eliminates the need for multiple SKUs or redesigned arrays to accommodate different venue geometries. Integrated DSP with Focusing™ and DynO™ technologies ensures phase-aligned output and dynamic management at performance limits.
