Where generic managed switches require workarounds to support entertainment protocols, the NFS116 ships with prebuilt support for ONYX X-Net, MANet2, MA-Net3, HogNet, and ETC Net3 alongside a Dante-compliant QoS preset. VLAN management across six groups with per-group DHCP servers allows technicians to isolate lighting, audio, and control traffic on a single physical infrastructure. Per-port LED feedback for activity, PoE status, and VLAN assignment gives operators visual confirmation at a glance, while the full-color OLED display and front-panel encoder allow configuration without a laptop on the floor.

Locking connectors on both RJ45 and power connections reduce the risk of accidental disconnection during load-in or show operation.
