Elation PAR148 Fresnel Lens For Paragon M Soft Wash Fixtures

Lighting designers, production electricians, and rental houses running Paragon M moving fixtures often need one unit to cover two roles. This modifier changes the character of the output from a crisp profile projection to a forgiving wash, so a rig built around hard-edged looks can also deliver blended color and gentle field edges when a show calls for it.

Compared with carrying a separate wash fixture, a lens swap keeps the existing fixture count, power distribution, and truss positions intact. That matters for touring packages with fixed weight and circuit budgets, and for installs where adding units is not an option. Published beam, field, and cutoff angles give programmers real coverage figures for spacing fixtures and planning throw distances.

Rental inventories gain flexibility because the same fixtures can be assigned to either look from job to job. Designers get a smooth wash source without leaving the Paragon platform, and the lens is the only change needed to switch between them. Crews handling changeovers get one accessory to stock, label, and case per fixture instead of an additional fixture type.
