Touring productions, festival stages, broadcast sets, and large installed venues benefit from its four-cell RGBLAW LED engine, which delivers broad, even coverage with color mixing depth well beyond standard RGB arrays. The inclusion of amber, lime, and white emitters enables accurate CMY emulation and variable CCT from 1800K to 8500K, making it as useful for naturalistic tungsten-style scenes as it is for saturated theatrical looks.
Engineered for outdoor-capable and adverse-environment deployment, the SOL401 carries an IP65 rating with sealed DMX and locking power connections, allowing it to perform reliably in rain-exposed festival rigs or dusty production environments without additional weatherproofing. The modular housing integrates an Aria x2 wireless device management receiver, RDM support, and 24 DMX channel modes spanning from single-channel simplicity to 69-channel fine control. A dedicated Array Mode addressing system simplifies multi-unit setup on large rigs. Compared to single-cell blinders, the four-fixture grid design concentrates output and enables per-cell control for dynamic pixel-style effects from a single overhead rigging point.
The SOL401 ships with a removable yoke and omega bracket, two fixture interconnect splices, an IP65 locking power cable, and a safety cable. An extensive range of optional lenses and accessories, including Fresnel, frosted, dome, and blackout lenses as well as a barndoor and gel frame holder, allows output shaping to match specific production requirements without additional hardware purchases.
