The Elation XLS137 Skywriter HPX M-10 is built for production professionals who need a laser fixture that behaves like any other fixture in their rig. With X-Laser Mercury firmware baked in, the unit speaks 5-pin DMX, Art-Net, sACN, and RDM natively, pulling up profiles on all major console brands without custom workarounds. That makes it a practical tool for touring LD teams, rental houses, and installed venue rigs where console integration is non-negotiable.
The 10W balanced RGB engine uses direct-injection diode modules across red, green, and blue wavelengths to produce over 1,000 analog colors, giving designers the same additive mixing logic they already use with moving heads. The internal effect engine provides access to more than 450 digital patterns, 11 digital prisms, 50 color macros, and 60 motion macros with variable speed and amplitude, covering everything from tight beam looks to wide liquid-sky effects. A 0.1 to 45 degree zoom range and 30,000 PPS scanner speed support both detailed pattern work and large-scale sweeps.
Durability is addressed at the construction level. The 6061 aluminum enclosure carries an IP53 rating and a fully sealed optical deck that resists dust, wind, and moisture in live production environments. Auto-switching power input, Neutrik PowerCON TRUE1 in and through connectors, EtherStop remote interlock, and ILDA in and through ports round out the connectivity.
