The EVA-2082S 906 full-range line array module from Electro-Voice’s Expandable Vertical Array (EVA) series is a vertical line array with a unique, elegant system that provides a simple, affordable, yet versatile solution for fixed-installation sound applications. EVA offers true line array performance, streamlined and minimalistic rigging, and user-friendly options ideal for situations where high-quality sound reinforcement and even coverage are required from a compact, lightweight, and unobtrusive array. No matter what the application or budget, the innovative EVA Series provides the tools to maximize flexibility, giving you the ability to have a powerful, compact, and extremely efficient vertical array system.
The super-efficient EVA-2082S 906 module is a cost-effective solution for high-performance audio needs. Each module includes two array elements, two 8-inch low-distortion woofers, and four 1.25-inch high-frequency drivers with titanium diaphragms. The EVA-2082S 906 is capable of handling up to 104 dB of high output.
With multiple vertical and horizontal coverage angles to choose from, the EVA array is designed to provide full bandwidth, well-defined coverage from easily created line arrays using four different preconfigured 2-way modules. Each module consists of two elements, each 2-way element containing an 8” woofer and two compression drivers mounted on a hydra/waveguide combination. Two vertical coverage angles, 6°, and 20° can be combined to create line arrays optimized for spaces ranging from 40 feet (12 m) to greater than 200 feet (60 m) deep. Two horizontal coverage angles, 90°, and 120° provide the perfect match for any width.
The rugged enclosure is constructed of wood, reinforced with internal steel rigging straps, and coated with EVCoat for durability and professional appearance, or fiberglass for severe exposure. Enclosure side panel covers conceal all suspension hardware. The unique acoustic and integrated rigging design allow for an 8-module vertical array to be built using a combination of modules from the entire EVA Series.
