The IX series brings networked amplifier intelligence to installed sound applications where uptime, flexibility, and integration matter. Designed for sports venues, houses of worship, live performance spaces, and hospitality environments, this platform combines powerTANK amplifier technology with native Dante connectivity and onboard DSP processing. The 96 kHz matrix mixer, dynamics, EQ, and FIR-Drive capability eliminate the need for external processors, while OCA/AES70 remote control integrates directly into SONICUE Sound System Software for unified system management.

Mic/line inputs function as Dante break-in points, allowing analog sources to enter the network at the amplifier. The MXE-style TaskEngine provides local logic for automation, scheduling, and third-party device integration without relying on external controllers. PoE ghostPOWER keeps the DSP, Dante network, and all mic/line inputs active even when mains power is lost, ensuring that signal routing and control remain operational during power transitions. ecoRAIL technology reduces operating costs by optimizing energy consumption across all load conditions.

Pilot-tone detection on all inputs and pilot-tone generation on all outputs enable sophisticated signal presence monitoring and automated failover scenarios. Glitch-free network redundancy with primary/secondary modes and RSTP support ensures continuous operation in mission-critical applications. Front-to-rear airflow and temperature-controlled, supervised fan cooling support rack-dense installations without acoustic penalties.
