The ETC E1004-4 is an EchoConnect-powered wall station designed for installed control applications where reliable access to presets and zones is needed at the point of use. It communicates with compatible dimmers, relays, and power control panels over a two-wire, topology-free control network, giving integrators more freedom when planning station locations across education, hospitality, healthcare, office, conference, meeting room, and retail environments.

This model uses a four-button format with rear illumination that helps users identify system state at a glance. Blue indicates active status, while amber or off indicates inactive status. The station supports a fastener-free faceplate approach for a clean finished appearance, and its user-legend system allows standard nomenclature or custom inserts to match room function. Flush mounting is supported in an industry-standard backbox, with removable connectors simplifying field termination.

For projects that demand adaptable control wiring, the E1004-4 supports bus, loop, homerun, or mixed wiring layouts over Belden 8471 or equivalent with an ESD drain wire. It also supports optional Belden 1583A or equivalent Ethernet control wire when used with Cat5 termination accessories. With enclosed electronics, gangable construction, and compliance listings including cULus and CE, it is suited for permanent architectural control deployments.
