The ETC ECPB DMX OUT / A/C is an Electronic Control Plug-in Box designed to add a convenient DMX512 output connection and local AC power at key points in a lighting system installation. It is intended for venues that need distributed control access for production, maintenance, or temporary equipment tie-ins, including theatres, auditoriums, television studios, houses of worship, museums, casinos, and hospitality spaces.

This model supports surface or flush mounting, and most configurations fit standard RACO back boxes, helping streamline planning for permanent installations. ETC also provides surface-mount back box options, and an optional U-bolt pipe-mount kit can be used with surface-mount back boxes when wall mounting is not practical. For contractor installation, terminal blocks are supplied, low-voltage Class 2 wiring is used for data connections, and voltage barriers are provided when Class 1 and Class 2 terminations share the same faceplate.

The faceplate is made from 0.80 in aluminum and finished in a fine-texture, scratch-resistant black powder coat with white legends standard. DMX inputs and outputs support termination of Belden 9729 or equivalent cable, as well as Category5 cable. Custom configurations are available for certain connector types, making the ECPB series a flexible choice for facilities that need reliable connection points throughout a venue.
