The ETC EOS FW 40 lighting fader wing is built for programmers and control users who need more hands-on playback access within the Eos family ecosystem. Designed for use with compatible Eos Ti, Gio, Gio @5, Ion, Ion Xe, Ion Xe 20, RPUs, RVIs, ETCnomad, and ETCnomad Puck systems, it adds a dedicated bank of 40 45mm faders for expanded cue and playback control. Support for up to 100 pages of pageable playbacks helps operators manage larger show files, event workflows, and multi-look environments without relying solely on the host surface.
The unit uses high-resolution monochrome LCDs to present button, fader, and configuration mapping clearly at the wing itself, helping users track assignments during programming and live operation. Paging and bank behavior are set through the setup menu, allowing the wing to fit a range of control preferences and system layouts. Two powered USB ports support connectivity needs in integrated control positions, while power sensing allows the wing to turn on automatically when both mains power and an active USB data connection are present.
For installed and mobile applications, the EOS FW 40 also supports VESA 100 x 100 mm mounting and includes a Kensington lock compatible point for physical security. With compatibility across multiple ETC control platforms and operating environments meeting the stated Windows and Mac requirements, this fader wing is a practical expansion option for facilities, theaters, and production teams standardizing on Eos-based control.
