The ETC RSN-OPTO-DBOX is a DIN rail Response Opto-Splitter built for dependable DMX data distribution in installed and production lighting systems. It provides DMX input and DMX thru connectivity along with optically isolated DMX/RDM outputs, helping designers, integrators, and venue technicians distribute control data across multiple lighting paths while maintaining signal integrity. Support for DMX512, DMX512 (1990), DMX512-A, and ANSI E1.20 RDM makes it suitable for modern systems that require both control and device management.

This model is aimed at applications such as theatres, hotels, convention halls, houses of worship, museums, themed environments, and other architectural or entertainment spaces where DIN rail mounting is preferred. The unit requires no configuration, includes LED indication for power and DMX activity, and supports up to 256 total RDM devices. For ETC-based lighting networks, it also supports updating connected ETC fixtures, which can simplify service workflows in permanent installations.
