The Gator GRW-DRWBDYPK12 is a 2U rackmount drawer engineered specifically for wireless system operators who need a reliable, organized home for body packs inside their rack. Live sound engineers, houses of worship, touring production teams, schools, and theater departments all face the same challenge: keeping wireless gear accounted for, protected, and ready for quick deployment. This drawer solves that problem with a fitted EVA foam insert that nests 12 body packs individually, separating them from each other and from the rack frame itself.
Built from cold-rolled 16-gauge steel with a black powder-coated finish, the enclosure is rigid enough for road and install use without adding unnecessary mass to a working rack. Heavy-duty smooth-glide drawer slides allow full extension under load, while spring-loaded latches keep the drawer closed and secure during transport or in a rolling rack. The foam insert also includes six AA battery nests and two small accessory nests, consolidating everything a wireless operator needs into one location. AA battery slots accommodate many rechargeable lithium-ion options as well.
Where generic rack shelves leave body packs loose and vulnerable, this drawer provides individual containment for each transmitter. Compatibility covers select Shure and Sennheiser wireless body packs, making it a practical fit for the most common wireless platforms in professional AV environments.
