The Gator GRW-DRWHANDHELD6 is a purpose-built storage solution for wireless microphone users who need organized, protected, and instantly accessible gear inside a standard rack. It fits production racks in houses of worship, touring systems, theatrical venues, schools, and live sound rigs where handheld wireless mics need a dedicated home rather than a generic shelf or open drawer.
Inside the fully enclosed 2U drawer, a custom-fitted EVA foam insert provides six individual microphone nests sized for most handheld wireless bodies from Shure, Sennheiser, Audix, Audio-Technica, and comparable manufacturers, along with four battery nests compatible with standard AA and many rechargeable lithium-ion battery options. This goes beyond generic foam-lined shelves by giving each mic a defined position, reducing movement and contact damage during transport or between sets.
The drawer is fabricated from cold-rolled 16-gauge steel with a black powder-coated finish, placing it above thin-gauge competitors in rigidity and rack aesthetics.
