The Gator Telescoping Boom Tripod Mic Stand is built for engineers, stage managers, and installers who need dependable mic placement without hauling heavy hardware. The boom section reaches over drum kits, guitar cabinets, and seated performers, while the stand body keeps a clean profile on stage, in studios, houses of worship, and broadcast rooms.
Powder-coated steel construction stands up to repeated load-ins, and the folding legs pack down for cases, trucks, and storage closets. Grippy feet keep the stand planted through a full set, and a single tech can carry and set it. Choose black or white to match the room, whether you are dressing a visible stage or keeping gear low-key on camera.
Compared with basic straight stands, the adjustable boom gives you one stand that handles vocals, instruments, and group setups. Support for both US and Euro mic threads means a mixed mic collection can share one stand, which suits rental houses, venues, and touring packages that carry varied microphones. Height changes stay quick between songs and scene changes, so a crew can reset positions between songs or takes.
