Designed for directors, camera operators, and DITs who need to combine wireless monitoring with image control in a single device, this all-in-one solution eliminates the need for separate transmitters, receivers, and field monitors. The Mars M1 Enhanced switches between transmitter and receiver modes via its settings interface, supports up to two receivers or four mobile apps simultaneously, and integrates seamlessly with Mars Pro and Mars 4K systems for multi-device setups without redundant hardware.
The calibrated 5.5" LCD touchscreen delivers Rec.709 color gamut accuracy verified during manufacturing, with RGB gain fine-tuning available through an on-screen reset option. At 1,000 nits peak brightness and 403 PPI pixel density, the display remains usable in direct sunlight while providing the color fidelity required for critical exposure and white balance decisions on location. HollyOS supplies a full suite of waveform, vectorscope, false color, and focus assist tools accessible via the touch interface.
Dual HDMI and SDI inputs accommodate cinema cameras and broadcast switchers, while HDMI loop-out preserves signal path integrity for downstream recorders. The system supports 4K/30p input with HD wireless output, operates across 5 GHz bands with automatic channel scanning to avoid interference, and maintains 80ms latency over 450' line-of-sight range. Built-in automatic trigger recording and playback allow instant review without returning to the camera, and the 400g impact-resistant shell with frosted grip texture withstands transport between locations. NP-F battery mounting and 7–16V DC input offer flexible powering for daylong shoots.
