The Hollyland Pyro S RX receiver enables professional wireless video monitoring across broadcast, film production, and live event workflows where reliable signal integrity is critical. Built around dual-band 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz operation with Auto Dual-Band Hopping technology, the receiver automatically selects the clearest available channel to maintain uninterrupted video feeds even in congested RF environments. The system supports transmission ranges up to 1,300 feet while maintaining 50ms latency, making it suitable for applications where real-time monitoring is essential.
The receiver accepts both HDMI 1.4b and 3G SDI outputs, accommodating professional monitoring displays and recording devices without format conversion. UVC compatibility through the USB-C port enables direct connection to computers for streaming and conferencing applications without capture hardware. RTMP streaming support allows direct integration with platforms including Zoom, YouTube Live, and Twitch via USB Wi-Fi dongle. The magnesium alloy housing delivers durability while maintaining a compact 207g profile suitable for on-set deployment.
Flexible powering options include battery voltage support from 6.8 to 8.4V or DC input from 6 to 16V, enabling integration with existing production power systems. Smart channel scanning provides real-time frequency status feedback, while preset grouping eliminates pairing configuration on deployment. The receiver operates across temperature ranges from -10 to 45°C, supporting outdoor and mobile production environments.
