The ikan international M-PTZ-PEDESTAL-TK is built for broadcast engineers, corporate AV integrators, and live production crews running PTZ workflows. It solves a specific operational problem: getting motorized, repeatable vertical positioning for PTZ cameras and PTZ teleprompters without manual height intervention during a shoot. The 25.6-inch motorized stroke handles on-shot elevation changes at 40mm/s, smooth enough for live broadcast vertical moves, while the 2-stage leg system and center column together extend the working height to 9.1 feet — or 9.2 feet with the included dolly.
The wired remote controller provides real-time display feedback and stores three preset height positions, enabling operators to snap between locked-off framings in multi-camera studio environments or fast-moving event setups without re-measuring. The quick-release middle spreader and Mono-Lock leg adjustment reduce setup and breakdown time on location, and the dolly with cable guards keeps cabling managed at the base during motorized moves. Standard 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch screw holes on the column support direct attachment of monitors, microphones, or lighting — reducing stand count in tight production spaces.
Unlike manual pedestals or static tripod rigs, the M-PTZ-PEDESTAL-TK delivers automated repositioning under remote control with a 66 lb payload ceiling, making it viable for full PTZ teleprompter configurations. The included padded foam hard case with six locks, folding handle, and integrated wheels makes this system practical for crews moving between offices, stages, and studio bays rather than permanently installed deployments only.
