The IPORT 72101 CONNECT PoE+ Network Adapter is designed for AV integrators deploying iPad-based control in commercial and residential installations. It converts an IEEE 802.3at PoE+ Ethernet connection into power and USB-C output, allowing a single Cat5 or higher cable to carry both network data and device power to IPORT Surface Mount and CONNECT PRO BaseStation or WallStation endpoints. This eliminates the need for separate power runs and removes the reliability concerns associated with Wi-Fi in RF-dense environments.
With a maximum cable run of 300 feet from switch to device, the 72101 suits large-format installs where control stations are distributed across zones, conference rooms, or hospitality suites. The self-contained in-wall form factor integrates cleanly into finished spaces without exposed adapters or transformer bricks.
