The JBL Control 414C/T-U is a purpose-built ceiling speaker for installed sound systems in commercial, hospitality, and institutional environments. Standard Coverage Series design delivers 130° conical coverage from a compact footprint, making it ideal for distributed audio in lobbies, conference rooms, retail spaces, and open-plan offices where fixture visibility must remain minimal.
Dual-input flexibility—70V/100V transformer plus native 8-ohm direct input—accommodates both retrofit integration into existing 70V systems and new installations requiring analog amplifier connection. The magnetic grille accepts standard paint finishes, enabling seamless blending into finished ceilings. Robust dogears adjust to accommodate ceiling thicknesses across renovation and new-build projects.
IP33 environmental rating and sealed enclosure design ensure performance in humid plenums and standard HVAC spaces. At 30W continuous (45W peak pink noise), output reaches 103 dB continuous and 109 dB peak at 1 meter, sufficient for background music, paging, and speech reinforcement in mid-scale venues without requiring external attenuation.
