This optional new-construction bracket is designed to support a specific pre-installation method for Control 400 Series ceiling speaker projects. It mounts before sheetrock is installed, helping reserve the speaker location and providing a structure for securing wiring in place behind the ceiling surface.
Once installed, the flat sheet metal ring serves as a guide for blind cutout work in gypsum board using a router-type cutting tool. It is suited to production-line style installations where consistent hole placement and repeatable setup are required.
