The JBL VTX A12 AF MKII Array Frame and its companion Extension Bar are purpose-built rigging components for production engineers and touring companies deploying VTX A12 line arrays and VTX B35 subwoofers. Whether working a large-format touring rig or a fixed installation requiring precise array aim, this system accommodates single-point, dual-point, and quad-point suspension using one or two Extension Bars attached to the main frame. The Extension Bar mounts at the front or rear of the frame to support both up-tilt and down-tilt configurations, and three attachment positions allow fine-tuned shackle placement for single-point applications.
Both the frame and extension bar are constructed from high-grade steel with an anti-corrosion coating and black powder coat finish, built to withstand the demands of repeated touring deployment. The frame ships ready to rig with included shackles and a laser attachment bracket for third-party inclinometer support, keeping crew setup efficient. The Extension Bar is also sold separately for side-by-side suspension setups, and all attachment brackets and hardware needed for adding a second bar are included with the extension bar variant. Up to two Extension Bars can be stored above the main frame during transport, reducing loose hardware on the truck. Full compatibility with the original VTX A12 AF ensures straightforward integration for existing inventory.
