The JBL SRX918SF is a powered flyable 18-inch subwoofer built to extend low-frequency performance in SRX900 Series systems for touring productions, event companies, and fixed installations. It is designed for suspended deployment or ground-stacked use, giving system designers more flexibility when building compact arrays or larger flown PA configurations. The integrated three-point rigging system also allows mixed-array configurations with SRX910LA cabinets.
For demanding professional audio environments, the SRX918SF combines onboard amplification, DSP, and network control in a package intended to simplify deployment while maintaining system consistency. Dual Ethernet ports with Neutrik etherCON connectors support control and configuration through JBL Performance software over HARMAN HControl protocol, while the rear-panel LCD provides local access to key settings. A large low-frequency port design improves airflow and helps reduce audible turbulence at higher output levels.
The enclosure uses reinforced 18 mm birch plywood for durability, and the M20 threaded mount supports pole-mounted full-range components in ground-stack applications. With a passively cooled Class-D amplifier, universal power supply, and JBL Differential Drive woofer design, the SRX918SF is suited for users who need controlled low-end reinforcement in a truck-pack-friendly powered system format.
