The K&M 11990 is a professional conductor podium built for orchestras, choral ensembles, and performance venues that demand a reliable, low-profile riser. The aluminum construction keeps overall weight manageable for rehearsal hall changeovers while delivering the rigidity needed to support a conductor through extended performances. A noise-filtering carpet surface prevents foot movement from distracting musicians or bleeding into open microphones, making this podium a practical choice for both amplified and acoustic settings.
At 1 x 1 m, the platform gives a conductor sufficient room to move freely without feeling constrained, and the low-profile height integrates cleanly into most stage setups. Optional plug-in feet are available separately to raise the platform by 20 or 40 cm, allowing height customization to match sight-line requirements for different ensemble sizes and room configurations. This flexibility makes the 11990 a long-term investment for venues that host varied programming rather than a fixed single-use riser.
