The K&M 12125 is a folding orchestra music stand designed for working musicians who need reliable, portable music support across rehearsals, pit performances, and traveling gigs. The steel stand pairs a lightweight plastic music desk with a three-piece folding rod design, letting it pack down small enough to fit in the included nylon bag without sacrificing the height range that serious players require.
The double-extension column provides an unusually wide height adjustment range, making it equally usable for seated string players and standing woodwind or brass musicians. The clamping lever allows quick repositioning mid-session without tools or complicated mechanisms. Foldable legs with a socket construction deploy and collapse reliably on stages, in pit areas, and in rehearsal spaces where setup time is limited.
Compared to budget stands with single-extension columns and no included case, the 12125 delivers a more practical package for performers who travel frequently or maintain large libraries of sheet music on plastic desks that can handle repeated handling in varying conditions.
