The K&M 12227 tray is built for live sound engineers, DJs, and production technicians who need a stable, organized surface mounted directly on a microphone or speaker stand. The 250 x 330 mm usable platform accommodates compact digital mixers, MIDI controllers, tablets, and similar electronics without requiring a separate utility table or road case lid. The adjustable clamp fits tube diameters from 25 to 42 mm, making it compatible with a wide range of stands already in a typical production rig.
Where competing trays offer nothing more than a flat shelf, this unit integrates a cable routing slot to keep signal and power lines organized and off the floor, a foam insert to protect gear surfaces and prevent sliding during performance, and an included cup or can holder to keep beverages off the equipment. The steel construction delivers durability suited to repeated setup and teardown cycles in touring and rental environments. For engineers running compact digital setups at front-of-house, monitor world, or broadcast positions, this tray reduces clutter and keeps critical gear accessible without occupying floor space.
